EMCC Official Press Release Brussels, 3 February 2021 .

EMCC is delighted to announce the winners of the 2020 Coaching awards.

Dr Riza Kadilar, EMCC Global President, said of the award winners;

“EMCC exists to develop, promote, and set the expectation of best practice in coaching (as well as mentoring and supervision) globally for the benefit of society. I’m proud to see that the winners of 2020 EMCC coaching awards at both individual and institutional level are exemplary role models in line with our purpose statement. I should also extend my special thanks to our distinguished awards panel members for their diligent work in selecting such inspiring winners.”

Coaching Outdoors

The EMCC Global awards selection panel awarded Coaching Outdoors as an organisation for combining their two passions of coaching and the outdoors into two innovative and inspiring programmes (interactive and online) which are an impactful and effective way for coaches to reconnect with the natural world. As coaches they can create truly positive impact around the human response to the ever evolving climate and biodiversity crises - and Coaching Outdoors seems to catalyse just that. The programmes also support the coaches development as well as that of their clients, whilst strengthening their relationship with nature, something that's been a 'life-saver' for many during the pandemic.

On receiving news of the award, Lesley Roberts, who is an EMCC Senior Practitioner and the founder of Coaching Outdoors said;

“It is an honour to receive this EMCC award for the Coaching Outdoors training programmes. I am very proud of the programmes and their important contribution to the world of coaching for the coach, coachee and the planet. This award is a testament to the hard work that has been put into making these accessible programmes both developmental for coaches professional practice, and for developing their relationship with the environment. I am very grateful to everyone that nominated our work.”
